The Virtual Desktop tool is a deployment of Collaborative Environment for Scholarly Research and Analysis (CoESRA) provided by TERN.
Launch Virtual Desktop
Currently, the Virtual Desktop service is provided through CoESRA which provides a virtual desktop environment with tools like RStudio, Canopy (IDE for python and Notebook), Kepler Scientific Workflow, KNIME, QGIS, Panoply and OpenRefine. All these tools can be accessible by logging into a CoESRA website using an Australian Access Federation (AAF).
- Go to the tools page ⓔ.
- Follow the "Virtual Desktop" link.
- If this is your first time accessing Virtual Desktops through CoESRA, follow the "Register" link at the top right of the page and follow the prompts. Otherwise, follow the "Login" link.
For information about Virtual Desktops, please contact TERN.
